Towards the Design of Resilient Supply Networks under DisruptionsThis research introduces the concept of resilience in Supply Network (SN) design problems under uncertainty. The SN design approach proposes a stochastic programming based formulation including resilience strategies. Using a Monte-Carlo approach, samples of random and hazardous scenarios are generated and used to produce a set of alternative resilient designs. These designs are then evaluated with a larger scenario sample, including worst case scenarios, in order to select the most resilient one. |
