Exploring the role of Process Orientation in SCM Quality

Process oriented approach in managing organizational activities has attracted attention of practitioners and academics in the past few years. This study explores the role of Process Orientation (PO) in supply chain management quality. In the first step the concept of process oriented is explored from a theoretical perspective in order to illustrate the application of PO in organizational supply chain management. Following that, the developments in the study of supply chain management during the past few decades has been discussed. A multi-dimensional framework of supply chain quality is developed based on the literature review, and finally, a theoretical model is proposed to illustrate the role of PO in supply chain quality.
