Crisis Management of SME: From Supply Chain Coordination Perspective

Crisis management has become a critical capability for companies to survive and develop in today’s age of globalization and diversity, especially in the current economic crisis. Supply chain coordination as an effective way to facilitate the supply chain’s operation effectiveness could be used as a method to help companies to improve their crisis management. Rather than the large companies, which have been paid enough research attention, this paper dedicate to get understanding of the SME’s situations and properties related to their crisis management , try to investigate the impact of supply chain coordination on SME’s crisis management process and propose some possible solutions or feasible suggestions for SMEs to improve their crisis management performance. To achieve the research objective, this paper provides the related literature review and proposed a theoretical framework and the related propositions. The outcomes of the research provide some suggestion for both academia researchers and industrial practitioners.
