Dean Loria, C.P.P., C.P.M., was appointed Canada In-Country SCM Lead in September 2007 with a mission to lead Shell’s upstream SCM business in Canada. Dean’s extensive experience of over 30 years in the Shell Canada Supply Chain Organization is instrumental to the continued growth of developmental activities in Canada and a key driver for the success of on-going Shell Canada integration efforts with Royal Dutch Shell.

Dean has vast experience in the development and implementation of global procurement initiatives as well as a previous assignment as SCM Performance Manager in analyzing and assessing Supply Chain effectiveness within Shell and delivering solutions to support procurement best practices including SCM competency development and training.

Dean was Vice President of the Alberta PMAC board (2003-2006), he has served on the national PMAC Education committee as well as being a PMAC Instructor for various seminar programs in Global Procurement.

Dean was born and raised in Calgary and continues to call Calgary his home with his wife and 2 children.
