Call for Papers  (Here is a brochure in a PDF file)

In its sixth year, the Annual Supply Chain Management Symposium is now known as the event where academics and practitioners come together in a relaxed pace of presentations and a cordial environment that provides for excellent opportunities for exchanging ideas about the latest in supply chain management research and applications. The benefits for contributing and attending the event include obtaining a quick and high quality double-blind review of your paper and the possibility of publishing it in special issues with international journals as well as the opportunity to showcase your company's supply chain practices and hear about how others are facing their own supply chain challenges.

We invite prospective authors and presenters, both academicians and practitioners, to contribute to this international symposium. Potential areas of focus include:

  • Supply Chain Coordination

  • Partnership Management

  • eProcurement

  • Performance Measurement

  • Green Supply Chains

  • Network Design

  • Supply Chain IT

  • Risk Management

  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

  • Demand and Supply Management

  • SCM Software

  • Global Supply Chain Management

Submissions Guidelines:

  • Academic papers. All papers will undergo a double-blind review by at least two reviewers from the symposium's program committee. All accepted papers will be published in a CD of proceedings, after full payment of registration fees by at least one author. Given the strict reviewing process, most papers will be selected for publication as special issues in leading refereed journals. We expect to have two special journal issues! At least one author should present the paper at the symposium. Here are guidelines for academic papers.
  • White papers. White papers from practitioners are strongly encouraged. Accepted papers will be published in full or in abstract form in a CD of proceedings, after full payment of the registration fee by at least one author. At least one author should present the paper at the symposium. Here are guidelines for white papers.
  • Extended abstracts. Some authors, especially practitioners, may choose to contribute with a presentation without submitting a paper. All presentations (whether accompanied by a paper or not) are 30 minutes long followed by 5 minutes for discussion. The symposium will not accept presentations in the form of commercial promotional material for a business or product.
