This two-day symposium will
outline recent research on the most critical supply chain issues, and
discuss solutions adopted by industry leaders. The focus this year will
be on partnership
building through technology and the role of third party service
providers.
In addition to
presentations of competitively-selected academic papers and practitioner
presentations, the program will include keynote addresses by leaders in
the field, concurrent sessions on the latest in supply chain research and
applications,
stimulating panel discussions by experts in the field,
and open informal roundtable discussions on specific popular
topics.
Selected papers will be published in special journal issues.
Eight special issues have
already been published from the past four symposia.
Experience
with previous symposia have been highly successful, resulting in an
enthusiastic reception by participants. We intend to re-create this
atmosphere with this fifth annual event.
